Deathloop Trailer Outlines PS5 DualSense Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Trigger Support

Arkane Studios’ Deathloop has received a new trailer, this time focusing on the implementation of the PS5’s DualSense controller. The developer has spoken at length about how the haptic feedback will make each surface feel different to move on while the adaptive triggers work differently with each gun. Now we get to see it all in action.

One of the cooler features is the responsive from the triggers when a gun is jammed. It will require continuously pressing the trigger to un-jam, which is followed by a satisfyingly unique “click” when the weapon is ready. The controller’s speaker also comes into play for different sound effects while ensuring you’re never too far from Julianna’s radio calls.

Deathloop is out on September 14th for PS5 and PC. For more details on the premise, gameplay and what exactly you’ll be doing, check out our feature here. You can also watch some more extensive gameplay for Julianna here.
