There’s a lot of issues people have with the Epic Games Store storefront that Epic Games launched at the end of 2018. Let’s not get too far into the whole exclusive thing, which is probably the biggest issue people have, but the other is the store’s lack of features. It launched lacking even the most basic of features. Since then there’s been a few updates, and we should be getting more soon.
In October, the store got a much needed update to the storefront’s layout, something that was needed. Along with that came support for Thai in language options, new payment options and 3D Secure for Europe. Also in progress and hopefully soon will come wishlists, an updated grid view for your library and eventually critic reviews will come through OpenCritic implementation. You can read more through here.
It’s not clear when those new updates will come, and while this still puts the Epic Games Store far (far) behind other marketplaces, it at least shows they plan to continue updating it.
